Konin County Office is first in Wielkopolska Voivodship and one of that leading Offices in Poland where the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 – 2000 has been introduced.

Already during the second year of functioning of new local government structures Konin County Council passed a resolution on the beginning of introducing of quality management systems based on international quality standards.

Within new reality and seeking of possibilities for fast adjustment of organization to the legal changes, client service standards based on modern IP technologies and communication methods on domestic and global markets, ISO was chosen as an effective tool assisting the organization management.

Documentation, which includes: Quality Policy, Quality Register and the procedures, makes up a basis for introducing, keeping and improving of Quality Management System in county Office. Quality Policy of Konin County Office is directed to the quality of services provision and client serving.

QUALITY POLICY Konin County Office commits itself to keep continuous improvement of services provision in order to gain Client’s satisfaction through complete involvement of Management Staff and personnel, as well as constant improvement of Quality Management System.

Quality Register is a substantiated record of processes regulating the system functioning with reference to the particular norms points. Procedures consist of substantiated course of action within the identified processes in the County Office. Until now, there were drawn up 15 procedures in Konin County Office:

Supervising of regulations, Records on quality, Personnel, Infrastructure, Purchases, Communication with client, Work Plan of County Office, Services for Client, Services for County Council, Internal Audit, Management with projected co-financed by EU, Inspection of Quality Management System, Correcting and preventive actions, Organization and realization of events, Access to public information.

Introduced system is a subject to supervision and estimate while carrying out of internal audits, which are realized by specialized group of auditors: Jadwiga Andrzejak, Halina Chodkiewicz, Bolesław Garus, Małgorzata Hopen, Genowefa Kaszuba, Romualda Nawrocka, Jadwiga Rachwalik, Stanisława Smorąg, Dorota Sobieraj- Krawczyk, Bernadeta Szmytka, Małgorzata Waszak. Opinion on conformity of fixed and realized processes of quality management system in County Office with ISO standards is issued by auditors certificating organ. Positive results of audit are the basis for quality certificate granting.

First certificate for Konin County Office was awarded for the years 2001-2004, next – for the years 2004-2007. Comprehensive supervision on Quality Management System in Konin County Office is realized by Certificating Office of Polish Ships Register in Gdańsk.
